Just got it firing!
Hello gentlemen,
I'm in the process of piecing my 2009 Norge back together after an accident in July of 2016. The motorcycle laid fairing-less on its side in the rain for about two weeks. When I reconnected the old damaged dash to the harness it showed the ECU disconnect sign. Since the old instrument cluster was damaged I order a good used unit from Germany and connected it. At first it seemed promising. The dash showed correct mileage and recognized a few errors such as the fuel tank not being connected. When I tried to reset the key the dash or ecu got stuck. I reset the Battery power and tried again. Same result. I tried to reset the service symbol and it also got stuck. Now the new dash shows 335000 miles and the ECU disconnect sign again. I'm thinking the ECU may have shorted from the rain. The ground measures fine from ecu bolt to negative on battery. What do you think?
