No, not the Beatles album, but the cush drive/rubber dampeners fitted to the rear wheel. I just went from a wire wheel to a cast wheel on the rear of my '14 V7 Special and the new to me cast wheel doesn't engage with the bevel drive as deeply as the spoke wheel. After some measurement, it appears that the space for the rubbers in the cast wheel is a bit shallower than the wire wheel...basically equal to the depth of the nubs on the rubber bits.
Has anyone else experienced this? I've not read of anyone encountering such a thing when the topic of wheel swaps are discussed. The cast wheel came off ebay and was supposedly sourced from a 2013 Stone.
cheers,
