Nice that that Eldorado has the factory floor board option. That makes the shift pattern normal and not reversed like the peg model. That alone is worth a few hundred dollars. Also that front disk is indicative of a 1974 model. Nice find.

The police boards, engine guard, and side stand can be added later. That is what I did with my 73 Eldorado. The parts were available back in the day. Also scored the Carabinieri saddle bags and mounts from the importer (when in Baltimore) at a later date. Thanks Fran.There's really nothing to "decode" - it's a '74 Eldorado, built Dec. '73, VIN 061427. Basically a police Eldorado, but built for civilian use. Police bikes didn't have the chrome fenders or alloy bar risers.
