Hi all! I did a testride today on V100S and fell in love with it. Made a video of it, manly for myself to drool.... but I think it may have your interest as well. Wrote down some comments, sorry for some spelling mistakes or other faults, did not check is before uploading....

Yes ,although I bit dear with gizmos ,not sure I need quickshifter ,can ride fast enough all these years withou on ducati multitrada 1200 ,10 years old now ,so maybe time to use new guzzi for longer France trips this year liote and Corsica ..

Aye, is kinda cool seeing them pop out, and you can set the speed they deploy at as well.
Do the pop out wings actually make a difference? To my eye they look too small and I cannot see how making the wind different for my belly is actually a worthwhile thing.

I think they would mainly be of benefit in the rain or on longer runs. It is amazing how much a small change to a screen etc can make to turbulence, noise and comfort on a bike... just look at the bolt on screen deflectors lots of people fit to their bikes.
I wasn't really on the bike long enough to make up my mind re the wings, but they are quite cool....

Have you had a chance to ride the base model vs the S. Wondering how much difference in ride quality there is. I am not sure if a quick shifter is needed on this bike but my first take would be that I don't think I need that particular farkle. But heated grips would be a nice addition for sure. In 50 years of riding I've never had them, nor a quick shifter. Test rode a bike with a quick shifter and didn't like the way tranny felt for a 18,000 mile used bike. The Kawasaki 1000SX

In the US, that would be a one-way road. Y‘all have cars, bikes and pedestrians sharing what looks like about 20 feet wide In two-way traffic. Cool.

That’s a small block V4. The VA10 below (circa 2001) would be the first V100 initiative. Google will give you more if interested.

I had a test ride on the base v100 this week and the suspension was the only disappointment, although I'm sure with time the settings can be adjusted to suit. The preload adjuster knob on the rear is handy, but I couldn't see how to adjust the damping on it.
