Hey guys,
Don't know if anyone has posted about this or not but here goes- 14' V7 Stone with 23k miles..
Noticed some interesting behavior recently, revving in 5th gear around the 5.5k rpm range; going between 55-65mph. I've been experiencing momentary loss of power if I really lay into the throttle, rpms will continue to climb higher but acceleration lags. To remedy I have to briefly let off the throttle and slowly apply again to build speed. Only modification have made to the bike is deleted the evap carbon filter, plugged the intake vent associated with said filter. I'm running the k&n air filter, and mistral cans with baffles removed. Bike was re-flashed by AF1 in ATX around the 15k mile mark. All other maintenance has been kept up with and then some.
I notice the lagging more when the bike is somewhat cold, but I have also noticed it when the bike is warm.
Anyone else experience this, or have any insight as to what may be causing it?
