That's actually a good point... hadn't thought of that.
Dude I pulled up these saddlebags and really like their styles... so many are sold out though :(
I made another post but seems like some questions I had are being covered here... What bags you guys using with those c bows? I am running the V7III Anniversary edition and want to make sure the direction I start looking clears the exhaust just fine?
Anyone found some cool luggage for the Anniversario? I see what Guzzitech has in it's store but if I put on the C-Bow hardware I would want chrome for sure. Also looking for brown options potentially... But aluminum hard case is not out of the question. Just looking to see what everyone else is...
Welp all done and valves were solid, did not need any adjustment... all new fluids and took her for a test drive. She's a happy girl. Thanks to everyone who helped me on the project! Now on to other threads with new questions...
Thanks so much dude! I was just about to walk out and check the bike for the numbers... and the email notified me of a response. Really appreciate your time and response man. First Guzzi and want to make sure I give her everything she needs the right way :)
Doing the work myself today... I posted in another thread but then it dawned on me to check here and with you... what valve clearances does this v7III like? Haven't checked on the bike yet but the manual doesn't list anything. Figured I would check here just in case I get out there and don't...
What conclusion did you come to for valve clearances? I haven't checked on the bike yet but am going to do the first service work today... and the manual doesn't list those numbers.
HAHAHAH!
Any idea on when we might expect that complete drop in and price? Depending on time frame I may get the bulb... either way since you have the item I'll buy from you! Thanks man.
Living in the backcountry... roads are super dark(as some of you may know). The headlight on the v7III is pretty good but I sure would like some extra umph(Used to having my LED lights bars on my trucks...) What are my options for upgrading the light? Are there any bulbs that would provide some...
As ridiculous as this seems man, I didn't even think about them selling just the parts I wanted... I was thinking about them only doing the maintenance. Went by today and got the parts... had it all on hand! Which is awesome since otherwise everywhere I look at online tells me parts are not in...
If you were mechanically inclined, and from what I have seen on the forums you are, would you take your bike for first service to the dealer or do the work yourself? There is no lack of knowledge on my part, or willingness to learn something I may not know... a well rounded perspective on this...
Is there a place I could go to fill myself in on how you came about starting your shop and doing such neat things? I bet a good write up on that would be interesting...
What were you guys paying roughly for that first service? Appreciate all the opinions here btw. I gather you are saying they do not honor the warranty for someone who works on their own machines, unless that person is a certified tech? My first new bike, so things like warranties have never been...
