The connector is green and the cable black like the rest of the cables it his hidden. I retracted mine from the from the front after a good deal of poking around. Pliers and flashlight helps. Port side as road said.
I would say yes. In my case (6.1/32" inseam) they have reduced buffeting significantly. To reduce buffeting, I first allowed more air flow on the inside of the wind shield by inserting spacers at the lower mounting points of the wind shield. Worked pretty well but not perfect. I then added the...
If it is water spots inside the lamp (and not only the chrome ring) there is a MG service instruction to dealers. My dealer re-sealed the the lamp on warranty.
"I am not aware of any moto guzzi dealers in the DC area to do the reset on my behalf which would probably cost 50% of the reflash anyways."
Vespa of Arlington should be able to help with a TPS reset. They are just about to open a new shop that includes Moto Guzzi dealership. Since they are...
Thanks for you replies, Rudy and John. What really puzzles me is that the lights died instantly after a few seconds that Wednesday evening. Can a battery die like that? I would expect a more gradual decline but then again, I don't know much about batteries.
So, Wednesday I came home after short trip back from work. In the garage I cut the engine by putting down the kick-stand but let the key be in the 'on' position. After a few seconds I noticed that the front ligth went off - not a gradual fade but like turned off. I was in hurry and did not think...
I have this UltraGuard: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002T76YEI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
My bike lived on the street for 6 months with this cover and both cover and bike are still fine.
I mounted the passenger floor boards for my wife and she enjoys having more options for different positions of her feet. The price for a set is crazy even though they are very well made.
Ain't that cheating - reading the manual?;)
You probably found the explanation: The flashing taillights is the emergency blinker function, which some of us has engaged without knowing.
Thanks, Mike
I had the taillights flashing one more time since I opened this thread. I think some combination of ignition key and alarm remote action can cause this symptom. And that it can be stopped by an other combination. I've heard that turning ignition on and of a couple of times has a kind of reset...
I discussed the indicator issue with the technician at Europa Macchina today. He couldn't explain what caused the symptoms - his best guess was also that it had something to do with the alarm system. Guess that it is something that especially good Carlifornias do. Once!;)
