I had this same issue a while ago and ended up replacing the clutch lever, which sorted it. 6000miles and no problem since.

    Lock to Lock

I hope not. She rides perfectly, no signs of fork damge being bent. If the previous owner did shunt it, they would have replaced the brace wouldn't they...? Well I guess it gives me something to do in the winter. Griso is a keeper. My daughter wants me leave the Griso to her in my will...

    Replacing the Griso exhaust

Finally found some cash to replace the Griso Exhaust and should expect delivery of my new Agostini X Black very soon. Going to the job myself, looks very easy. Is there anything I should be aware of or any specialist tools I need. Don't want to get half way through and run into difficultly...

Griso Oil Leak - Need some advice on how to deal with this

I'm sure you've got this sorted by now, did you find the leak? Had a similar problem with mine after replacing the head cover with a brand new one, as I didn't notice the O Ring.... luckily these things are easy and cheap to fix.

    Lock to Lock

Thanks Mark! Just venting a little frustration. Goes as soon as I ride though, it only takes a a few minutes before that ear to ear grin is back.

    Lock to Lock

Balls! I found the what the problem is, the bit of metal on the fork yoke that comes into contact with the stopper that defines the steering lock limits has sheared off. Is it just my Griso, but all the castings seem to be made from a very soft metal somewhat similar to cheese?

    Lock to Lock

At full lock to the left, my fork yoke just kisses the frame, at full lock to the right it is clear by few millimeters. Surely that isn't right??? Can it be corrected???

    Trip Computer Switch

Just noticed the black switch of trip computer selector is missing. The white plastic piece is still there and works but the black piece that encloses the assy is gone. Anyone know where I can get a replacement???

How to make sure engine doesn't overheat?

Personally I the Griso is overcooled, but if you are worried about cooking your oil, then maybe consider a small bushless fan on the oil cooler, (like moto x bikes).

    Griso Adhesive Stickers

Thanks Todd. Seems the silver Griso sticker is on top as it peels away easily, but the red 8V is defo under the clear coat. Is there nothing that can be done??

    Griso Adhesive Stickers

Hi I am looking to remove the Griso and 8V stickers on from my tank and bodywork, leaving only the beautiful Moto Guzzi eagles in place. The stickers are slightly raised and don't fully peel off. Can I use a solvent like white spirit to remove them without damaging the paintwork? Or is there a...

    Tyres for Griso

lol. I went from a Tuono to a Griso too. Big change isn't it? In my case a 2008 Tuono to a 2010 Griso. The Tuono was mental and so much fun. Still I grin more on the Griso and spoil my underwear less. What pressures you using on your Griso/Z8 set up?

    Tyres for Griso

Hey Vinny No resolution yet. I've only put 3000 miles on them as the weather in London is still a bit rubbish, will try refitting them if only to bring peace of mind and help with the trouble shooting. Have to say though that when they work they are a good tire a give good confidence.

    Griso as a Commuter?

I commute the street of London (UK) without bother. The torque is great snd the low centre if gravity all work fantastically together. I'm 175cm tall and 77kg and the Griso fits like s glove. Size wise the bars give great leverage to twist in and out of traffic, but the long wheelbase will...

    Tyres for Griso

Guys. Thank you all so much for your POV's my Z8's still have enough rubber to get me through spring so I'll persevere a while longer and experiment with some of the pressures you use. Grazie mille. sun is coming.......

    Tyres for Griso

Hi I bought my 2010 Griso 8V last year and love it. It came with Dunlop Qualifiers on it but they didn't last too long, so I replaced them with Mezler Z8 Interacts, but I am not getting on with them. I am running 36 - 42 psi but the front end feel is horrible, further to this the tyres seem to...

    Clutch issue

This morning whilst filtering through the London traffic I accidentally whacked a car door mirror with my clutch level and fist. The impact wasn't so hard, the car mirror was fine (I did stop to check with the driver) but has has a weird effect on my clutch. Straight away the clutch seems to...

    Cafe Avvellanto

Skill wise I'm an engineer. I have restored a few bikes and modified a few modern ones to get the personal touch. My last project was a Honda CX500, which I welded a Triumph back end to, to create a simple cafe racer, she rode nice until she got stolen. So I bought the Griso 8V and still have as...
