Finally found some cash to replace the Griso Exhaust and should expect delivery of my new Agostini X Black very soon.

Going to the job myself, looks very easy. Is there anything I should be aware of or any specialist tools I need. Don't want to get half way through and run into difficultly.

Will post pics once done.

Thanks
S

One thing I ran into on my G11 was the collector pipe was not round at the outlet and the slip-on muffler was fairly demanding on having a round pipe to slip onto. After trying various foolish methods I got smart and purchased a 2 1/8" muffler clamp. By placing the muffler clamp further down the outlet than the slip-on needed then screwing down the clamp I was able to correct the shape from that dam oblong to a circle and slip on the muffler easily. disgustingly easily.

Obviously you don't want to remove the muffler clamp until you have the rest of the muffler attachment made up and secured. The clamp went into my Griso only garage toolbox.

I ordered the mat black Agostini 2 years ago, and it was by far the best upgrade I've done on my bike.
The power increase was noticeable right away, and the shifting seemed to be more seamless. And the sound, oh the sound! Fantastic. The only problem I had was the cat converter wouldn't fit into the pipe. I honestly stood around banging on that thing for a half hour before I gave up .....Oh well!
