    Stains in exhaust headers

For $299.00 send them to Jet Hot and you have your choice of 3 finishes. After almost 4 years mine still look good. I have a friend with the green SE and he's having them done in satin black. Should look great.

    ECU reflash

I have a 2009 Griso 8V and for 14,000 miles it has run OK at best. Lots of surging at lower RPM's, lots of backfiring on deceleration and this is after the most current maps, valves adjusted, throttle bodies synced, fresh plugs etc. I finally bit the bullet and sent my ECU to Todd to be...

    Header nuts

I agree with your assessment but where does one get the correct replacement stud. Certainly not Guzzi as there seems to be a problem with the studs and nuts. It seems eays enough to get brass/copper nuts but not the exact stud. If I go the bolt route I will use plenty of anti-seizure product...

    Header nuts

Thanks for all the suggestions. However it now appears that the studs are pretty well gone. The suggestion I received is to just use stainless bolts and I'm leaning that way.

    South Florida dealer

May have found a quality dealer in Florida. Took two 8V Grisos to have the tps reset after receiving Todd's ECU reflash and was quite pleasantly surprised with the shop. Took the bikes in did the work plus checked a few others things to make sure we would have the best results. Did the work...

    Header nuts

Are the header nuts a special type of nut. All 4 of mine are rusted and need to be replaced. I don't want to order them from Guzzi as they will probably rust as well. Thanks 8V Griso

    Griso 8v repair manual

I did receive a nice, detailed message from Moto Guzzi. Although they will not sell a workshop manual to a consumer they did offer a few suggestions.

    Griso 8v repair manual

Does anyone know where a workshop manual can be purchased. I realise there is an online copy but I would like a physical copy to get grease and grime on. I called Moto Guzzi customer service and they said there was no one available. At least I wasn't surprised.

    access mode function

Put the bike in neutral.....what a great idea. Thanks Pete. It all FUNCTIONS properly. As I reread the manual it seems to just say the bike cannot be moving.

    access mode function

I had the battery out of the bike and after it was put back in I have been unable to access the mode function. Trip 1 & 2 work fine. Any ideas? Thanks

    quick release coupling

Success! Thanks for the help. Someone PM'd me and suggested the following "Lift the tank, (Having someone to help aids this part and disconnect the 'Quick Release' by pushing the fuel line onto the barb from the pump, then pull the grey collar back towards the pipe and pull the pipe and collar...

    quick release coupling

Any tips on disconnecting the quick release coupling on the bottom of the Griso fuel tank? Squeeze, turn, pull? I'm leary of applying too much pressure. The picture in the manual shows the coupling with a 90 degree turn and mine is straight. Thanks

    Griso tank decal

The decal on my 2009 Griso tank is starting to peel off. So far just the "O". I contacted the dealer and he told me that Guzzi does not sell the "griso" decals. I would need a new tank. I find that incredible. The bike is still under warranty and replacing the tank seems like financial...

    griso windscreen

Anyone know where I can buy the medium Griso windscreen in the US. It is listed on the Moto Guzzi Italian site but not the US site. I'm debateing between that and the Givi A770. Someone had stated that the Givi A770 works better if you use a 1" spacer to move the headlight back. I'm not sure...

Are there any rides, meetings or motorcycle events where one might see another Guzzi? I'm in The Sebastian, Florida area.

    Termi baffle

Any tips on reinstalling the baffle. It is not damaged but it was very difficult to take out. Perhaps sanding the outside of the baffle and the inside of the can? Any lubrication or soap? Put the baffle in the freezer? I could probably tap in in but I need to line up the screw hole. Thanks
