    V7 C-S Suspension Thread

Putting the bike back to the first point of my measured settings and starting over on tuning. I've now been adjusting by adding preload . It now has corrected 80% of my worries. My first mistake or trial was tuning the suspension by removing Preload from my start point setup. As I make small...

    V7 C-S Suspension Thread

Update- Subjective comments below I'm just starting to feel the effects of the new suspension? My wrists are telling me that the ride is different after the Matris install. The suspension seems to have a sweet spot at 30mph. Below 30 the suspension does nothing. Above 50mph on same road the...

    V7 C-S Suspension Thread

Update: Much better - Firm but better (heavier springs option) - so far the front feels more often planted to the pavement This weekend I dropped the front wheel and forks legs. I followed the Matris instructions to the letter. Save yourself the headache. Drop the front suspension. Don't...

Dapper Kit partially installed. Here you are the photos.

I currently have the Dapper kit aluminum fenders with the lucas tail light assembly and turn signal relocation kit. I had the USA Style License Plate Bracket Kit for a short bit before I switched to the Lucas light.

    SoCal V7/V9 Ride - April 30th

Thank You Todd for your leadership. The ride was self paced with no pressure and safety first was reminded at all times. Looking forward to many more V7 rides with the Guzzi crowd. Todd on a Guzzi is like watching him win Wimbledon with a wooden racket.

    V7 C-S Suspension Thread

False alarm on the noise. The left turn signal was the culprit. After two days of riding it loosened up enough to hear it at idle. What a relief. As for just dropping the regulator in. Well yes. I placed it on the end of the spring and tried to lower it in as smooth as possible. I think...

    V7 C-S Suspension Thread

https://gtmotocycles.com/products/matris-v7-f15k-full-cartridge-kit my goal was not to drop the wheel and forks. I have the springs for a +200 lbs. rider. I have a new noise since the install. Sounds like spring rattle to me? Is my mind playing tricks on me "it's not a coincident" when I...

    SoCal V7/V9 Ride - April 30th

Getting miles in the saddle isn't my problem. Meeting other well minded Guzzi folk is on my agenda.

    SoCal V7/V9 Ride - April 30th

It's an hour ride to the start for me. Even 8:30am would help.

    SoCal V7/V9 Ride - April 30th

Weekends work best for me. Ojai round trip option sounds good.

Has anyone removed the rear signal indicator spacers?

Cut the same bolt to size with a grinder and reused the dome nut on the inside. I turned the bolt so the hex faced outwards.

Has anyone removed the rear signal indicator spacers?

I have the spacers removed and also have the relocation kit installed

Help with new V7 Special...dies when let to idle.

Heat causes the pipes and/or canister to blue. Fuel not burning off from a bad/out of sync tune or having a loose spark plug wire will put fuel in the canister. The canister is the first restrictive part of the exhaust from the combustion chamber. The liquid fuel ignites in the canister...

Help with new V7 Special...dies when let to idle.

My '13 Special had the exact same issue. Dealer knows about V7's that are dumping raw fuel down the left side exhaust? (dealer can better explain the reasoning) My dealer did a update flash and the bike ran perfectly after that. Cold starts and overall performance corrected. Piaggio still...
