    Kill headlight before starting?

Thanks for the replies. Really useful! The short answer is probably, yes I am a bit too sensitive; and the auto-lights-on is not really a big issue! Thanks again.

    Kill headlight before starting?

I'd prefer to switch headlight / all lights on after starting my Nevada 2004. Is there any simple way to achieve this? Everything is perfect right now, but I just think it completely wrong to be burning lights while also engaging the starter! Also... to re-set the clock I notice that the...

    Nevada head bearings...

Yes, I'm very pleased with the bike now the steering works smoothly again! Spanish beaurocracy is my only obstacle to some sunny touring now - as I wait for the 'import' onto Spanish plates.

    Nevada head bearings...

Riding my new 2004 Nevada Classic for the first time was an uncomfortable experience. At first I put this down to my local dirt road, plus not having ridden a motorbike for 40 years! Nice bike (5,600 miles), but shame about the headset bearings!!

    Slicer Pic Thread

Found this spindly beauty in a biker-themed bar in Pizarra, NW of Malaga, recently. I see the tank is marked Moto Guzzi Hispania.

    Fitting new tyres...

I expect I´ll be bolder after a few months of riding, and getting familiar with the bike. Thanks for the encouraging words! Right now I´m unable to ride the bike until it gets inspected as part of the ´import´ from UK to Spain (ie changing the registration plates). It´s over 40 years since my...

    Fitting new tyres...

Thanks. No chance of me doing this myself - just checking that any decent motorbike mechanic can do the job, and not necessarily a Guzzi main dealer. It only occurred to me a couple of days ago that this is not the 5 min job I've been used to on all my road and mtb bicycles!

    Fitting new tyres...

Are there any special problems that arise when changing tyres / tires on shaft-drive bikes - like my Nevada Classic 2004, for example? Should this be a routine job for most motorcycle repair shops? The actual brand of rubber I choose will be influenced by what I've searched on guzzitech, plus...

    Brit in Spain...

Ha ha - and nothing else! :whew: Temps of 44C / 110F are quite normal here in July/Aug.

    Brit in Spain...

I´ve bought a little-used bike from a friend´s estate and am likely to need tips and advice from GuzziTech as I get it on the road! I´m in Cordoba, Spain (ex Cheltenham, UK). Which forum should I be using for this model? Moto Guzzi Nevada Classic 750 IE, 2004 (5,600 miles). ¡Gracias!
