Love the look of these wheels, Todd. I keep coming back to this thread just to stare at them!
I'm not too hung up on counting calories, but do know what the weight savings is compared to the OEMs?.
Managed to get the fender eliminator and my new LED turn signals on. Thanks for everyone's input and help with the process.
Still have some work to do to hide some of the newly created mounts (amazing what some leftover plastic, willpower, and a Swiss Army knife can achieve!). Here's some pics
Well, the slow boat from China has finally arrived, so I'm putting on Todd's tail tidy this weekend!
After removing the rear fender and indicators, I find that my new LED lights have three wires,
red, black, and green, whereas the OEM signals have two wires, dark and light blue.
Does anyone...
Thanks, atweljk2.
Still on a holding pattern until my Turn signals arrive. I'll try to post a pic of the
finished (fingers crossed!) product later this month. Got a few things I'm going to install
on the bike ( bar risers, new mirrors , CARC protector, air box aluminum frame from Todd) so...
Well it looks good, and if it saves the finish all the better! I guess your matching the black? I have a Tenne,
but I'm really liking the all black thing you got going on. Nice!
Yeah, I agree with you there, kmac. If I did go,with any metallic bronze or copper it
would not be of the shiny variety. A lot more muted. Still looking for options.
I really like that , kmac, any chance you could take a close up shot?
If you have the names of the paints you used, please send them my way! Thanks and nice work.
Thanks for replying , ultra! The silence was deafening and I was starting to get a complex....
As for the colour, no idea really, it was the only thing orangy (sp?) on the colour wheel I found.
But you are bang on about copper! I cant find a way to image that onto the Griso,
but I researched...
I contacted Radical Guzzi and they do indeed have the adapter available. Its 550-600 euros and 70 for my shipping.
After adding the Ducati wheels the cost really gets up there! Thanks for the information, Todd!
ps- thanks for all the new Griso gear online at GT. Maybe you should just keep my...
Has anyone replaced their stock plugs with iridium? Is there a noticeable difference in performance,
or is it all hype designed to separate us from our cash?
Depends who you're wanting to fool, the huddled masses, or other Griso riders! Just kidding, sandy, Id love to see the finished
product. I don't think the frame differences will make that much difference. But if you have a chance to do a new
paint job and seat, have you looked at other possible...
I have since found out through Todd that this would involve very expensive ceramic or carbon rotors,
which are a little beyond a man
of my meager means!
Hey not-fishing,
Yeah, this summer has been a hot one here, too. Not California Valley hot, but hot!
I actually bought an air conditioner for my apartment for the first time ever.
It's funny you mention the Worlds Fair, because Expo '86 was the last summer I can remember
that was this rain...
Hello to all. Driving a 2012 Griso SE here in Vancouver.
Just wanting to introduce myself to the board.
Hoping to gain some insight to all things Guzzi and Griso!
Enjoy the summer riding
