    Clicking noise and no start

    I've had a couple of starting issues with my 14 Touring. It's only happened when the bike is cold, with the last incident this morning.     Guys What's the proper way to check and read oil level on the new 1400's? Should oil level be between both tick marks on the stick? There is no real markings to know for sure. I check it and see oil but honestly not real clear on it. Tips? Help? Thanks
