GMG OPEN HOUSE - Sept. 11-13th

Yes...! Yes... ! Yes... ! I'm going to visit the birthplace of my G12 again... Like I did 5 years ago. I think it will be not that busy as 5 years ago, on Guzzi's 90th birthday. As 5 years ago, I'm riding with Moto Guzzi Club Netherlands with a bunch with classic bikes. We're driving only...

    trouble with my G12

Yes, I'm thinking of making that "Modern No Start Fix". Just tested the voltage drop during starting. Bougiecaps off, spare bougies into the caps. During starting (under load, with compression), voltage is dropping to 10.95 volt. Not lower. I think, that's not to bad. Ad B

    trouble with my G12

Hi Todd, The battery is nearly 3 years old/young, a Yuasa YTX20CH-BS... I recharged the battery outside the bike and took the battery to a motorbike shop/workshop. I always visit that workshop, already nearly 40 years... We tested the battery in several ways under (heavy) load. 2 times with an...

    trouble with my G12

Hi, I'm enjoying my G12 for several years now :inlove: I'm not making many miles (km's), but I'm enjoying every mile (km) I ride. :mm: But this year is the first year I'm "enjoying" an electrical problem...:( A few months back, during good weather (no winter conditions...), the first drive this...

Clutch and front brake master cylinders

Hi, I used second hand radial controls. Brake side a Brembo coming from a Aprillia RSV 1000 Clutch side a Magura from a KTM RC8, which I rebuild for the use of DOT oil. The Brembo and the Magura are looking nearly the same and fits my G12 perfectly. The oil cans are Rizoma's. Ad B

    SW Motech Tabk Bags

Hi, I have only used the SW Motech tank ring to attach another tank bag system. The Givi XS307 (the 15 Ltr bag Todd also has on this site...). (https://www.guzzitech.com/store/product/15-liter-tankbag-tanklock/) I was looking for the SW Motech bags, but they didn't fit nice. I tried the EVO...

    Exhaust Gaskets

I remove my headers every winter for some polishing activities. And it's what GuzziMoto writes. The gaskest are cheap, so I dont think, should I replace them...? I replace them. You can leave the gaskets in the crossover, in most cases, they stay okay. Ad B

Headers- Get Back That Showroom Shine

Yes, I think it's much easier. Let the machine do the work instead your hands and arms... And it only will cost you 2 exhaust gaskets.

Headers- Get Back That Showroom Shine

Abbienormal... the factory headerpipes of a Griso are made of double wall pipes... If the fueling is okay, the pipes doesn't color much. But I don't like the stains, which you see after some time. Dirt from the road is causing that. Because of that, I polish my headers once a year. Ad B

    Tyres for Griso

Hi, the original Metzeler tires slided too much and were out in 7000 km (4300 mls). I bought the Michel Power Road 3. I think (almost) the best. Good grip and safe feeling in wet and dry, they lasted 13.000 km (8100 mls)!! Now I'm riding Michelin Pilot Power 3. Huge grip, fast warming up. I...

Headers- Get Back That Showroom Shine

Hi, once a year, I do it "the old school" way... Take them off the bike and polish them with a big polish brush(ø 30 cm) in drill press. Ad B

Griso REGISTRY & Picture Thread - ADD YOUR BIKE

Hi, it's more than a year ago, I posted my last pictures of my G12 here. So it's time again... Sinds that last picture in Oktober 2013, my G12 has changed a bit (again...). My G12 after his latest facelift... His facelift had to happen, he wanted to look better. I customized the whole exhaust...

    My New Griso with Flyscreen

Hi, great looking bike, nicely done with the fly screen. :* You can change your bike in a pretty way, just by painting the fly screen. Very nice detail is the also green bolts and rivets!! It can be the start of making your Griso really your Griso. This is how I did it... (let it do...), after...

1200 8V follower and cam issues

Fredly, You got your bike repaired under warranty? Also the labour costs? Did your Guzzi dealer all the maintenance those 4 years or did you do that yourself? In the Netherlands, if you are out of the warranty (2 years) and the maintenance is allways done by a Guzzi dealer. You get the material...

Griso aftermarket exhaust stock bag clearance

Hi, Maybe something like this? You can make your own space, the space you need. Buy a exhaust, which you like to see and hear and make the bags fit your bike. I always have used throwover saddlebags, I can use them at nearly any bike. I enjoy my G12 with a Mistral High Rise Carbon exhaust. And...

What did you do to your Moto Guzzi today?

Hi, as you could read in the previous page, I was a bit busy with my G12. Now, the standard oil cooler in the front of the engine. A Breva 1100/1200 and a 1200 Sport 4v and 8v have a thicker oil cooler, I also have this version. But I did like the look of the standard Griso oil cooler better as...
