Stelvio Hand Guards on a Norge

Is that a later 4-valve Norge? They have higher bars than the old 2-valve (which I have). I managed to get a pair of Barkbusters on to my bike after some serious butchery. I now have bar risers, so slightly more clearance. When fully sorted I'll post picture.

    2007 Norge Fuse B blowing

This is a pickup from my previous comments in the 'Norge not starting' thread. I was stranded when fuse B blew out on the road (350 miles from home). Had to have the bike taken back on a truck. As the bike would not start I assumed that it was a starter relay problem so I did the 'yellow wire'...

    Norge is not starting

My issue was resolved today. I've started a new thread: 'Norge fuse B blowing' which explains.

    Norge is not starting

I think that must be it. I have the front of the fairing off as the bracket has fractured so I'll pull the tank off, too, and have a good look. Thanks.

    PBT-GF10

Hmm ... if I knew what it was called, I wouldn't have asked! Doing a search for that term came up with dozens of unrelated posts and threads. So it is a connector for a GPS? The previous owner had one and took it with him.

    PBT-GF10

Anyone recognise this connector, hidden under the front of the tank on my 2007 Norge? Not connected to anything but everything seems to work (part from a non-related fuse problem).

    Norge is not starting

Hi Brian. Carefully taped up existing yellow wire (but will double-check later). Discovered tail;-light problem after crossing from France Sunday night (had not checked lights in previous week as v sunny in France and only running in daytime). Bike started OK but fuse B blown and kept blowing. I...

    Norge is not starting

I'm getting a very similar problem on my 2007 Norge 1200. Fuse B blew. I did the yellow wire starter relay mod, replaced the fuse and all was well until two days ago when I noticed that the tail lights were not coming on. Now fuse B will blow as soon as I turn on the ignition. I removed my...

2010 V7C - help with fuel delivery issue

Sorry I have been off this site for so long. Finally I took the bike to Moto Corsa, a dealer in Dorset, UK. After some testing and analysis, they replaced one of the lambda sensors and the problem vanished, Bike ran really nicely - which is good for the new owner as I have sold it and bought a...

2010 V7C - help with fuel delivery issue

Another update: I thought I’d try to track down which sensor was playing up (unless of course both were faulty). I did 20 miles with only the left-hand sensor connected. The bike ran fine. Then 20 miles with only the right-hand sensor connected – the bike ran fine! Then I took it out with both...

    V7 fuel filter WARNING!

Corsa Italiana in London, UK, tell me that the 2014 Stones have all-metal filters. Make sure your tank filler drain line is kept clear or you'll discover which kind you have as you remove water from the filter!

2010 V7C - help with fuel delivery issue

So - I disconnected the two lambda sensors when out on a test run and immediately the symptoms vanished. I then did 550 miles over a hot weekend with the bike loaded with camping gear and it ran fine the whole time. So - that may well be it. As others have mentioned, no warning lights come on...

2012 V7 Stone. When it runs right, it's wonderful!

2010 V7C - help with fuel delivery issue

This describes the problem I have with my 2012 V7 Stone pretty closely. All good up to 3,700 miles but then started acting as described after a filling station stop. Will accelerate hard but fades on a constant throttle when trying to cruise. Replaced spark plugs - slightly better. Local...

    Anyone upgrade rear shocks?

Just fitted a set of Ikons to my 2012 V7 Stone. First impressions - much better than the standard Sachs units. 4-way damping adjustment and three-way preload adjustment.
