    Voltage regulator woes

Did Harper’s have to rewire it correctly or are there two different batches? That is, correctly wired one and incorrect ones?

    Contacting MG

I also agree. Mostly we concentrate on things when they go bad and that’s quite understandable. But when thing go well, particularly on this issue of MG/Piaggio responding well, we should credit them accordingly. I continue to think that they make some very fine motorcycles.

    It does look quite nice!

    brake disks

Is that the same for both V7 and Little Breva?

    Blither about V7 racer.

I guess we´ll have to see. Maybe owners should start ordering back-up V7 tanks. :D Or maybe this is good strategy; if people keep talking so bad about the tank before they even see it, when they finally do see it, it won’t be so bad looking after all.

    Winter's here

Well, with some luck we’ll be riding here throughout the year, though the last 2 weeks have been out of bounds due to terrible gales going through. Incredibly windy and rainy.

Just make sure that your gas filter, lines and connectors can take it. Some of them seem to kinda let go....

    V7 Classic seat

I'm a shorty, too, at 5´7´´ and I did not have any problems with the V7C when I rode it. If feels very much like the B750. Though he will probably not flat foot the bike, he will have solid grip on the balls of his feet. It's no big deal at all.

    Another leaky Final drive

Re: Another leaky CARC That makes it suspicious to me. That oil is so clean I bet you overfilled. It is only 700 ml -- very little -- and it measures preciely so when you fill from the breather on top. (Careful you don't strip anything!) I'd empty it, measure what comes out and refill. Bet...

    2007 B750 EFI/mapping ?? Poor running below 4,000

I am sorry—or should I say—happy to say that I have not experienced any of the issues with my Breva 750 that you mention occur on your Breva 750. Interesting. In fact, when I get off the highway after doing a few miles at 5.500 r.p.m. I notice that the bike runs even smoother when in town. I am...

    V7Classic oil level check

I went through the same uncertainties long ago with my Breva 750. Same engine, same oil, same capacity. I was constantly paranoid as my bike used oil in the beginning. Ended up mounting a Sumspacer to add more oil so that now I have 2.7 liters and just forget about it from oil change to oil...

    V7C Spark Plugs

I'm proud of my blue pipes! Anders, I think I reset my plugs at 0.7 last time and I think idle may be a litle off. I'll try 0.65 with new ones as new oil change is due next week. Thanks.

Mayonaise - and it's not Hellmans!

Hard to believe that much water -- enough to contaminate the oil like that -- would get in through the little breather. I've ridden in a bit in rain and haven't seen that, yet :? :ugeek: The seal should be the culprit, though seals do okay in water don't they?
