    Eldorado passenger accommodations

The rack that need the bolts on the side is the genuine MG one, it is very heavy and over engineered IMHO. Can I suggest you get the MG Comfort Gel Seat P/N B064236 or the plain black 2S000063, both are supremely comfortable for a pillion according to my wife and the BO64236 has the white...

Cal1400 REGISTRY & Pics thread - ADD YOUR BIKE

Had mine since Dec 2015, bought 2nd hand, 2013 model. ZGULV0024DM111341. Have added Gel Touring seat, H&B Rack, Touring bars, Sport Screen, Black Rocker covers and that's where the mods will end. Love the bike, cant speak highly enough of it.

    Check Bolts on Swing Arm

Pete Roper suggested it may have been as a consequence of the rear tyre being fitted which it was at last service. The Bevel Box removed for easier access and then bolts not tightened properly. That seems a likely scenario in this case and considering who fitted the tyre.

    Check Bolts on Swing Arm

Giving the bike a bath on the weekend, I notice the top outside bolt on the RHS swing arm was out about 5mm. I tightened and then checked the other 3 and found they were as good as finger tight also. I'd had the bike serviced at 20,000k's and it's now done 22,300. I don't know how long it has...

    Tank Bag Recommendation?

Hi Scott, I have purchased a Bagster cover as have run this system on a few bikes now, has always worked well and is cost effective, particularly against the ridiculous price of the genuine one. On fitting, I found the forward mounting points were too far back so the tank bag sagged into my lap...

Cal1400 REGISTRY & Pics thread - ADD YOUR BIKE

1200 Sport Handlebar on a Norge?

My thoughts are you are unlikely to find anyone that has fitted Sport risers and bars to a Norge mainly because the main differentiator between the 2 bikes is the riding/bar position so if someone wanted a more sporty riding position they would have bought a sport, if they wanted more upright...

1200 Sport Handlebar on a Norge?

Whilst not a Norge, prior to my current 1200 Sport I had a Breva and fitted the sport risers and fairing onto. Like Tony said, you just need the risers and a set of bars that suit the riding position you are after. I used the gold aprilia Tuono bars for a perfect (for me) slightly forward...

    Removing rear indicators

The tail light assembly didn't seem to want to come out with only the 4 bolts removed and I didn't want to force it so assumed another screw holding it in that I could not get to but will give it another go tonight, thanks for the tip!

    Removing rear indicators

Thanks Tony, I was guessing I needed to remove more bodywork but hoping I didn't. Why they didn't simply have a secured nut behind for the bolt to screw into I have no idea. Trev

    Removing rear indicators

I'm looking to replace the rear indicators on the 1200 Sport and it appears I have to remove a section of the rear assembly to get to the retaining nut for the bolt that holds them on :(. I've removed the screws from the inside panel of the rear guard and also the bolts from the tail light...

Guidance on Airbox/Filter system running Stage 1 Kit

Many thanks Todd for the heads up on the ECU and ideas on the air box, I'll check out your link! My bikes ECU has in fact already been re flashed by a good local resource and improvements felt (smoother throttle response and less popping) so I will fit the pipes, do the air box mod and take it...

Guidance on Airbox/Filter system running Stage 1 Kit

Hello all, recent joiner to this forum although a member for a year or so. Looks a great community! I've just picked up a Stage 1 Kit for my 1200 Sport 2V as it was "the right price". I've noticed the velocity stacks are unfiltered so not an option so I would appreciate any guidance from those...
