    Indicator warning/which indicators fit?

Thought I would post my info to this thread. Since I've have two turn-signal stems break recently on my '07 Griso I called the local MG dealer. The parts guy was nice enough to offer the advice of using $14 Buell indicators instead of the $70 MG replacements. What I bought is spec'd for a '07...

    Turn-signal arm broke -- '07 G1100

Hi all. I was riding my bike the other day on the freeway here in San Diego and glanced down to notice that my left-front turn signal was wiggling a little, vs. the right, which was rock solid. Thought it was odd. A quick, closer look revealed a crack. Within 30 seconds of that it broke...

    Issue with my kickstand's footlever

Cool pic. And yes I see what you mean. Definitely a handycap on fast left turns.

    Issue with my kickstand's footlever

Yeah I don't know why the factory decided to make that thing wiggly the way they did. Some Harleys have similar protrusions on their kickstands but they're just welded on and work fine, I'm sure. So you live in Chatsworth? Any vids online of you dragging your stand on that famous bend, the one...

GT CARC protector -- parts list and instructions?

Thanks guys. My go-to store for bolts didn't have the exact bolts I'd want for these brake calipers. I pulled off my bolts and determined that I need M10x1.5 x 35mm, 35 being the next size longer.... which you guys have since confirmed. The shop had this size but not in flange head like the...

GT CARC protector -- parts list and instructions?

Hmm. They must have walked off. Can't find them. Fortunately there is a very well stocked industrial HW store nearby. I will have to pull off one of the bolts and have them match it to a couple of equivalent bolts that are a few mm longer.

GT CARC protector -- parts list and instructions?

Alright. Thanks so much for the info. I'll look around more for the bolts. Couldn't have gone too far.

GT CARC protector -- parts list and instructions?

Hi all. I should probably just sent this to Todd, but I figure he will probably see it here anyway... and maybe someone else is more avail to help this morning. I received a GT CARC protector last Nov as a birthday present. But I'm just now getting up the nerve to start pulling things off the...

    Issue with my kickstand's footlever

That's a good idea. I think I can find a piece of nylon, LDPE, or similar. Like out of a plastic bottle cap, etc.

    Issue with my kickstand's footlever

I've been noticing lately that my bike's kickstand lever is getting floppy. Seems it's mounted with some kind of rubber bushings or padding of some kind around the mounting bolts (for some reason). My bushings or whatever have disintegrated and left the foot lever kind of lose and hanging down...

Griso 8V crashbar, anyone? The Stucchi one sucks!!!

I actually don't mind the look of these bars at all. Or either of the stucchi offerings for that matter. In fact I think they're all kind of cool looking in their own ways. I've wondered why the H&B bars have that skinny tubing for a top bar, but it must be because there is such tight clearance...

Griso 8V crashbar, anyone? The Stucchi one sucks!!!

Wow, yes. Kind of. But not that big and fancy.... and expensive looking. :P What's it made of and why isn't it mentioned (that I know of) as an alternative to the little 'crashbar' commonly used? EDIT: I looked it up on MC Cycle's site. It's aluminum. I'm sure it would work fine, though...

Griso 8V crashbar, anyone? The Stucchi one sucks!!!

Can't voice much of an opinion about cylinder crashbars. But what I envision for protection of the CARC and of the Griso's oil cooler housing, are tightly conforming skins (stamped pieces?) of something very tough, like titanium or stainless steel, to work as sliders on those vulnerable edges...

Will the Stucchi 8v crashbar fit on a G11?

Thanks again. It's not on their web site. I couldn't find it among the crashbars, and a site search for "becker" didn't turn them up anywhere else. Not a big deal though. I guess I will be trying out the Stucchis first.

Will the Stucchi 8v crashbar fit on a G11?

Thanks. I wasn't thinking of using them for my G11. I was just curious. If they fit, seems strange to me that there aren't notices everywhere saying "Also fits G11" or similar. That would give owners of older Grisos an option, and maybe Stucchi would sell a few more. Actually my GF just...

Will the Stucchi 8v crashbar fit on a G11?

I found this page on Stucchi's web site. This is the 8v crashbar, but.... that's got to be a G11 it's mounted to, right? http://www.stucchiluigi.it/product.php?id_product=5729

More exhausting exhaust questions. Zard and Agostini

I've had the Quat-D on my G11 for a little over a year. Great fit and look. No issues or interference with panniers, lights etc. And it looks (in my opinion) like it's truly matched to the bike. Doesn't look added on. Just looks... right. Sound wise, it's not very loud at all with the dB killer...

    Gearbox clunk

Well thank god it's only scary and not bothersome. ;) Might sound like a weird direction to take this in, but a lot of the low-speed clunkiness in my G11 went away when I installed the O2 Optimizer (that Todd makes) that came with my PC-5. It smoothed out the fueling at lower RPMs and so the...

    Light Crash Damage

Bending of the brake lever would not have helped. If yours didn't bend then just be glad. It's $150 less you'll need to spend to get your Griso on the road again. I went down on the rt side a little over a year ago. Maybe my crash was a little different than yours. I washed out the front tire...

    Plastic oil radiator grid sucks...

I don't care for the grills with the wording. They look sorta... tacky to me. The bike looks better w/o the bling. (Doesn't need to say "Griso" twice on the right side. Who are we trying to impress?) I think the factory grill looks great---when it's not warped. What I think Todd (or someone)...
