Hi GT friends!
I'm currently making a research to understand if only Italy is infested by a motorbike that tries to be a Griso.
Does it happens also in your country? Is it a global plague??
Here the latest comparison...
Dear friends,
I would like to show our latest gadget: full titanium exhaust system produced by Arrow under specification of Enedan, a mad and passionate Griso owner/lover.
Well, to be precise, manifolds and compensator are in titanium, exhaust is stainless steel. The prototype was so beautiful...
I confirm it's the 2012 Griso 8V SE and it's silver and matt black.
Silver is a sticker (not painted nor transparent paint)...
There was also a "Moto Guzzi" sticker on the wheels that someone appreciated ;)
Griso pipes are not chromed, they're polished... ;)
Here you can see the example of a Griso with chromed pipes/muffler (no more spot or swarthy effect :D ):
Seen live they're worderfully shining! :D
The valve covers above are polished ;)
Good choice Will!
You know that in Italy the 8V is not delivered in red?? Sounds incredidle...
There are some Griso owners with red 8Vs, but they had to paint it or use 850/1100 parts :)
It was not bad the Rosso Astore, presented in Milan years ago for the Griso SE:
Now this color is used...
@Greyo. It's the legal version with the cat...and unfortunately is not removable :(
But I can say that is not huge like the orignal or the Termignoni ones :)
@Mark. Red is the historic Lafranconi color for Guzzi's end-cap...you can think about a painting like this:
Ps.: now you know where...
WHY, your bar ends are fine for rizoma :)
Early November I visited Stucchi at Milan Motorbike fair, he's producing new bar end mirrors really cool (and more adjustabl)e than riz) ;)
You can see Stucchi mirrors here:
Don't mind the axxhole in the pic
My Zard was born without that stainless steel band, but it's one of the first model (2007).
I think that if they added that band there's a good reason :D
I hope I won't loose my end-cap one day
About ZARD dBkiller removal: it's your responsability to remove it as soon and give the Griso his coolest voice!
I'm joking... ;)
Remove this dBk is possible but not easy. The ring that you can see is a seeger ring and if you want to remove it easily you can buy specific seeger tongs...
Hi WHY,
do you have a pic of your bhandlebar caps?
If they are like this (and this is from Rizoma as well) you can install the bar end mirror:
If not, you can move grips and electric devices and install the mirror directly on the handle bar...but it's not a great result ;)
My suggestion is to...
