I am looking at two bikes. One is a 2013 Griso and the other is a 2014 Stelvio both with 1500 Kms. I currently have a Harley Electra Glide Classic. We bought a camp and don't use the bike as much. I want something lighter then the Harley but torn between both these bikes. I like the...
As far as I know is the only difference is the db killer. I run mine without and it is not overly loud. I went with the full version with the headers. With the db killer out it made lots of popping during deceleration and with the db killer in it muffled it. I sent my ECU to Todd and the...
If it is 2004 or newer it is okay. 2003 and older then only certain models. Needs to be free of recalls. If it has a recall then should be done or a pile of headaches. If from the us then the border has to know at least 72 hrs prior to import. Most info can be found at these sites...
One thing to consider is Canada is much bigger then people realize. Many times people look on the map and miss judge the distance and think it will only take a couple of hours when in reality would be double. Toronto and Montreal try to travel through non peak hrs and be careful of Quebec...
The video was taken after a 20 mile ride. The only time I get a very mild pop is when I am going down a hill or accelerating hard then letting off abruptly. Prior to the reflash mine sounded the same that someone threw firecrackers behind the bike. I haven't done the TB reset yet but it...
The Zard has removable db killers. Basically a couple of tubes that fit in the end pipe. The video is without them in place. It has a nice deep sound not raspy, also it is not overly loud.
I had the Arrow slip-ons prior to buying my Zard system and you could hear it being lean. It is similar to what my ZARD sounds like with the db killers in. But if you are adding an aftermarket open exhaust I would definitely do the reflash.
I just reinstalled the ecu that Todd reflashed and it works great. It took it around the block with the db killers in then I took them out. No more pop, pop, pop, on decelaration and the bike sounds so much nicer. I used to kring on deceleration waiting for the pops but no more
I am running a Zard 2-1-2 system. Slight power gain and found the torque curve to be a little flater as the revs go up. (butt dyno) Not much gains but what do you expect from a bike with less then 50hp
