New Griso Owner - 2013 Black Devil

Welcome to the board and congrats on the purchase Akshay. You are going to have fun. My last bike was a 110cc Suzuki Shogun and I had absolutely no problems coming to terms with the Griso so you should be just fine. Gaurav

More exhausting exhaust questions. Zard and Agostini

while I was going through my exhaust search, Todd had offered to do his GT-RX pipe in a high polish finish like this one - for a bit more money obviously. Something for you to consider.

More exhausting exhaust questions. Zard and Agostini

I chose Zard as it blends well with my Black Devil color scheme. Here's a pic. I am happy with the quality but it's really subjective. Shape/angle wise I think Todd's GTRX pipes look better. I gave them serious consideration (and still do). Hope this helps.

    Griso 8V SE Tenni Exhaust

Thanks! right back at you ;). You will find some other angles here SkidMarx Carbon. I agree. I gave serious consideration to Todd's GT-RX pipes - they have a very good rep here - and the price is right - but narrowed it down to Termi or Zard as I wanted a more "stock" look. The Zard pipe does...

    Griso 8V SE Tenni Exhaust

I too was trying to decide between Termi and Zard. Ended up going with Zard as it was easier to get (thru Todd). Haven't regretted once. I changed the air filter as well (already had the ECU reflashed and PCV/AT installed). Engine breathes much better. Sound is deep very much like in the youtube...

    Headlight fairing

I took a chance with a Givi A240 - mainly because its bigger than the oem fly-screen but not overly large. So far it has held up quite well. Bike feels much safer at highway speeds. https://www.guzzitech.com/forum/topic.html?f=163&t=9932&hilit=screen#p74890

    Hepco Becker Crash Bars

mine have held up so far (600 miles of fairly civilized riding). YMMV https://www.guzzitech.com/forum/163/9723.html

Griso 8V vs Harley VROD ( VRSCR) Streetrod

I can be of no use to the op since I've never ridden a vrod but I did ride the sportster line before i bought my Griso. In the beginning i was a bit disappointed by the Griso's relative lack of low end torque compared to the HDs but i soon discovered (with a bit of help from Todd ;) ) all the...

    Another Griso Screen Option

I took a chance with the Givi A240. Had to flip the "universal" (yeah right!) brackets and mount them on the outside of the headlight bracket instead of inside using longer headlight bolts. The fit is not very tight - the screen can be rotated forward and backward with just a little pressure -...

About to purchase Griso - questions...

That's what I was told as well. I too was contemplating waiting for the 13 model but decided to pull the trigger on a 2012 Black Devil mainly coz I didn't want to miss the fall riding season. No one, including Piaggio cust serv could tell me when the 2013 models would come in and what the change...

    Buzzing sound (ignition off)

ok then, canister and valve are history. Bike is running fine, perhaps a bit smoother but it's hard to tell. Buzzing sound is gone. After I removed the main tube (that goes to the valve) from the canister, I blew air into it and the valve made the same buzzing sound I was hearing earlier. At...

    Buzzing sound (ignition off)

hmmm... the hoses and valve seem ok as far as I can tell. I am thinking about ripping out the canister. May or may or stop the buzzing but it seems it needs to come off anyway.
  17. gaurushab

    Buzzing sound (ignition off)

at first I thought it was the immobilizer reacting to movement or some kind of pump going on and off but now i'm thinking it may be related to pressure building up in the tank and being released periodically. when I open the gas cap it makes a whoosh sound. If i close it for a minute and open it...

    Buzzing sound (ignition off)

Griso buzzes on and off for hours after coming back from a ride and turning off. Sounds a bit like a small bee trapped under the tank. Even after it goes quiet, a slight touch can make it buzz again. Is this normal ?

    Griso 8V Stucchi Crashbar Question

nope. it's lowered only by a couple of inches so it's still high enough and still to the "inside".
