For the love of God, someone please talk some sense into me!

Yea. I've actually started researching different bar and windscreen options. A friend at school in the machine shop is making me some 1" and 1/2" spacers for the risers on my bike. I'll try those when my back heals up. If it's not enough, I'll look into some pro taper cr high bars and a larger...

So a question to those who have dealt with Guzzi warranty claims. How do they take care of you? I have heard that they only pay for parts if the bike is out of warranty and I think that is a load of crap when anyone with any common sense knows that flat tappets on an overhead cam is a bad...

For the love of God, someone please talk some sense into me!

Mark, I appreciate your input. My wife is a nurse practitioner, so we have discussed the options and neither want to do the pain management route. I also spent 13 years working a full time kitchen job while taking 2 classes a semester to get my business degree. I then spent 9 years as salaried...

For the love of God, someone please talk some sense into me!

Hi all, So, it has become painfully obvious that my poor back can't take the riding position of my lovely Griso anymore. I start to have muscle spasms after about 100 or so miles and I can't get it to heal properly because of life's demands and my love of being on 2 wheels, so the Griso is going...

    Fuel Tank Pimples

My black 07 had them when I bought it. I personally think it's caused by ethinol in the fuel. I bought a new tank from F1 and now I won't run anything but non ethinol. They haven't reappeared in a year now. Knock on wood they won't again.

    Plastic fuel filters in tank.

Thanks for the info. Think it has been replaced as the filter looked like aluminum and not plastic.

    Plastic fuel filters in tank.

How can you tell by looking if it is the plastic filter? The dealer said the recall had been done on my G, but I thought I should pull the filler cap off and have a look.

    v 11 sport

The can in front of the rear tire is the charcoal canister to recycle fuel vapor and keep the green peace people happy. There is not a vacuum line on the fuel pressure regulator, just a fuel line that goes to the charcoal canister if I remember correctly. I took mine off long ago and it now...

    Cortech sport saddlebags

Has anyone used the Cortech or other brands sport throw over saddle bags on their Griso? I was wondering if they block the air intake under the seat.

    Turn Signal Help

Well, 1st problem down. Signal problem turned out to be the 9 pin connector the connects the turn signal switch to the harness under the left front of the tank. Now I just have to find a way to fix it without butchering the harness. It's just not making a solid connection. Now I hope that the...

    Turn Signal Help

I may have to, but they are 200 mile away so I would really like to take care of it myself if I can. The way I reason it is that if it is a short it would have to be in the switch, the dash, or wires before the dash otherwise I would have either a front or rear signal light. Does this sound correct?

    Turn Signal Help

OK. I know that there is nothing coming out of the instrument panel for the right side. I traced the harness out of the turn signal switch to the first connection, under the left front of the gas tank. I tried to use my test light to find the wires for the switch by turning on the left signal...

    Turn Signal Help

Well i am confused now. I replaced the rear turn signals today hoping that would fix the problem. When I unhooked the left rear and used my tester, the left front was still flashing but faster than with both hooked up. When I touched the positive terminal with my test light the flashing slowed...

    Turn Signal Help

I picked up my new-used Griso yesterday and it has a no right turn signal error on the dash. Someone has replaced the rear signals with what looks like the cheapest units they could buy at the Dollar General. I have switched the bulbs around but nothing. I'm planning on changing the signal...
