Hey folks,
I have a 2004 breva 750 that I've put about 20k miles on in the last year and a half. I bought it last year with 2500 miles, and I ride the crap out of it.

A couple of weeks ago I installed some noisy mufflers and a power commander III USB, as well as a k&n style air filter for the stock airbox. I set the little lights to be just a couple notches richer than the "base" map to compensate for my mods. Then later that week I went on a 1200 mile trip, and about 400 miles in, the EFI light came on. I tried several combinations of fiddling with the lights on the PCIII but couldn't get the light to go off.
Now I've put the stock mufflers back on and went back to the "base" settings, and the light still occasionally comes on while riding.
I'd love to download a map to run until I can get it to someone to properly tune it with a wideband, but do you have any suggestions for what I can do?
I'm close to just taking the PCIII back off, because any time I read the plugs after a long ride with the light on (like the last 800 miles of my road trip), they show a lean condition bad enough to damage my engine.
What do you guys think?

I have tried to get a download map from Todd@guzzitech.com, but he's really busy and I need to be riding the bike between now and him having time to help me.
Thanks in advance!

Also, I checked the plugs at the first sight of the EFI light and they looked perfect- chocolatey brown.
I miss carburated engines....

I know the stock airbox is not user friendly, but the stock map is designed to work with it. I suggest going completely back to stock until such time as Todd can help you out.

Todd got back with me and told me that the o2 optimizer that came with my power commander is faulty from the box.
I just put the bike back to stock until I can either get my ecu flashed or get a different o2 optimizer.
Todd says the one for a newer v7 will work for my Breva.
