I'm about to get everything in order to reset my TPS using the Ducatidiag program I've ordered up the cable, I've noticed that my exhaust tip is a little black so I'm thinking possibly that I may be running a little rich. Using the Ducatidiag what should my TPS reading be? I don't plan on doing any other mods to the ECU, I'll leave that to the pros but I'd like to ensure that my TPS is set right. Can anyone tell me the proper value? Also where is the plug located on the bike? I'm asuming under the seat, just haven't gone out to the garage to have a look yet.
Thanks

Download the 1100 Breva general service manual from the downloads. The value is there. Also look at the VDSTS thread, it may give you some insight.

Ducatidiag will reset the TPS to it's correct value (i.e 4.6 for the 1200 2v engines) you cannot alter the figure.

Thanks good to know now if I could only load the driver onto Vista I'd be laughing!! Crappy Vista doesn't seem to want to allow me to load the driver...Back to the old drawing board!!

When setting up Ducatidiag on Vista you have to set Vista to emulate XP. It must be easy, I managed it!

I dont know what type of fuel you lot use over the ocean but here in Aus the only fuel here is unleadded in various forms of volatility. You will not get an exhaust colour other than black with this fuel. It is better to check the plugs centre porcelan tip colour.
Cheers
