Could someone with a 1200 Sport please measure the outer diameter of the handlebars where they connect to the upper and lower u-bolts? I am looking into changing out the B11 handlebars.

It's 28 mm. in the middle where they connect and 22 mm. at the ends (grips).
I had bought a beautiful Yamaha Bulldog handlebar, but unlucky that's 28,6 mm. and allthough some put it on anyway, I have no good feeling with that. . .

I thought the top fork yoke was the same on the B11 as the 1200s, so you should be able to remove the B11 bars, and bolt on the 1200s bar clamps and bars.

!200 Sport bar clamp and caps, 1-1/2" risers from Mike Bui and Aprilla Mana bars. The controls did not need different cables.
Also put the Sport mirrors on the bike, a far better product.

Great info. Thanks. I was looking at a Rizoma universal and sure enough, the OD measures at 28.6. Like you, Martin, I won't take a chance with that. Thanks again.
