I would like to remove the rear mudguard off my 1200 sport to fit a tail tidy but all the manuals on line stop short of showing how to remove the tail section/number plate light. Any help would be appreciated as it appears I may need to remove lots of body work.

Careful, I just wanted to repair a faulty indicator on my Bellagio. So much needed to be removed I ended up with boxes of discarded spare parts, a retro café racer and a $5k hole in my bank account.

Thanks folks, looks like I will have to set aside a rainy day and take my time, not that it rains much in NZ.

Let's see some pics of this Bellagio cafe!!!! We don't get it in the US so it's always great to see one, especially with mods.

Here are some pics. I have used the original plastics and the only add on is the actual plate hanger. After market indicators used with the original number plate light fitted to to bottom part of the recycled inner fender. The pics of the guard cutting are by hhkiwi and then I just fumbled through the rest.
Not the greatest photos and sorry I don't have any progress shots.
