Is there a switched one built in, or do you have to hack into the loom, or connect straight to the batttery?

Not on the Griso for some reason. Steve who osts here as 'Porterhouse' has a ciggy lighter outlet in his Givi screen for power duties. My G hasn't got anything as if I'm going anywhere where I'm likely to need to power something up 'On the run' I'm usually on the Mana which has a power outlet in the 'Glove Box'.

I was going to start looking at the Powerlet set up

I haven't heard any negatives on it yet.

if you search there is a Tom Tom Green switched connector I think on the right side under the screened covers that provides 12v. That's what I was intending to tap into..

I think this is what your are looking for.. if you plan on using high current I was thinking of putting a relay switched fuse box there with a direct run to the battery for many accessories, but using the tom tom connector to switch it on with the ignition.

I am more of a paper map kind of guy but if the TomTom is plug and play I might be tempted. Any recommendations?
