    Hey guys!

Found a way to pull off the grab-bar delete on my '14 V7 Stone for under $16. If you didn't already know there are a few places that offer a "kit" to remove the bars which consists of aluminum spacers and short M6 bolts.

FIrst place is AF1 Racing in Austin Tx, their kit includes 3 alu. bushings, + bolts that are stock parts off the v7 racer's rear suspension- retailing for $74.99.
Second I have found is at BAAK (France) which includes 2 alu. bushings + bolts retailing for $30 + $36 shipping from overseas.

After checking out the V7 parts fiche (and just looking at my rear shocks) I found that the Guzzi part #-898164 are the exact alu. spacer bushings that are being sold in BAAK's kit; and coincidentally the same bushing on the bottom end of the right rear shock. The bushings retail for $7.02/ea from AF1 Racing. I did also have to take a trip to the local hardware store and pick up some M6x16 Cap Screws for $.75 each.

Pulled off my own "kit" for $15.54, compared to the grossly overpriced kits elsewhere I'd say I made out like a bandit.

Below are some pics of my ride with and without the bars, for those who would like to see how the bike looks. I really think it cleans up the rear end nicely, especially if you already have Todd's fender eliminator.

    Enjoy!

Guys, you're overthinking it. All you need is a shorter bolt and washer unless you want the fancier aluminum Guzzi tapered washer.

This is true.. I had gone the washer route prior to getting the aluminium washer. They just didn't look as nice to me.
