I finally found a T3 spoked hub for my Cafe project. Bike came with mags and I'm changing to spoked 17" wheels. New hub does not have a spacer. Does anyone know whether the spacer length from the mag wheel is the correct length for a similar vintage spoked wheel? I would hope so, but never know what Guzzi may have been thinking.... Thanks in advance

It might be but best to take some measurements. The purpose of the inner spacer is to provide the correct pre-load on the wheel bearings. Measure the spoke hub from inner flange to inner flange (where the wheel bearing will go). Then measure the spacer you have. The spacer should probably be about 0.5mm shorter. Hopefully someone may have a stock T or T-3 spoke spacer to measure and give you it's length. If the spacer is too short, the wheel will not spin freely. If to long, the bearings won't seat properly and won't have enough or any pre-load.

Thanks John. The front hub deal fell through. Fellow said it was missing a spacer, but in fact he did not have disk holder/bearing carriers - so I backed out. I am finding it surprisingly difficult to locate a front hub with the bearing/disk carriers.
