Hello there,
Probably all normal i expect but this is my first guzzi using CARC and i find it quite noisey and snatchy at low speeds (the bike was recalled for a new bearing) when pulling away in traffic etc.almost feels like there is to much slack in the throttle cable.
Also while i'm here how do you reset/clear fault codes on these models?
Many thanks, rob.

You said it, take as much slack out of the opening and closing cable that you can. Well covered here some time ago.

You get to the fault codes via your dashboard's diagnostic module.
But first you need a service code to unlock the diagnostic module. Find it here.

Note that the on-board diagnostic module may not be comprehensive.
My bike was telling me I had one ECU error (which I couldn't clear), but the dealer found several codes.

Thats great, thanks for the links.

Put guzzitechs o2 optimizer on mine and reduced the snatch noticibly.

I really enjoy snatch, just not with my motorcycles.

Three solutions to the issue

Least complex - adjust slack out of throttle cables.
Still quite easy - remove charcoal canister
A little more complex - check TPS and adjust TB sync and balance.

For my 2007 Griso - removing the charcoal canister had the most positive results.

For step 3, read this https://www.guzzitech.com/forum/160/1676.html and the 1100 Breva general service manual from the download section. The TB sync and TPS reset is the same for all CARC bikes. It is best to use the screw on the left side to get th eTB sync. Also don't touch the throttle stop screw.

Thanks for this information and keep up the good work in this website. Cheers!
