Hey all. Murphy here.
I'm getting ready to pull the trigger and put down my money to order my Norge through Union Cycles south of Charlotte, NC.
The dealer tells me that he "believes" the 2009 line up doesn't have RED available. Du'oh! That's the only way I plan
on buying the Norge. Can anyone confirms the colors available for 2009?
When I go to the MG website - only the 2007 and 2008 Norge brochures are available for download.
Thanks in advance!
Murphy

To the best of my knowledge, red is no longer available. That just makes my fast red one more valuable.. B) :cheer:

Why buy a 2009 when I'm sure there are 2007s and 2008s still available at a huge savings, plus you can get a red one. There is little if any difference between a late model 2007 and a 2009.

I do believe that this is the route I'm going to have to travel. I can't push my Purchasing timeline up any (First week of March) - so I'm nearly fit to be tied that any Red 2008's will be still out there. This is the only instance in which I'm pulling for the week economy to continue till then (selfish I know) - But I've waited 9 months between motorcycles just to be able to buy a new one of my choice.
I rode a 2008 Silver Norge yesterday for about 30 minutes, and really fell in love. This is not doing anything to help alleviate my buying anxiety. March cannot get here fast enough!

Im quite sure you have nothing to worry about.

No thanks. My local dealer has both the black and silver - and they don't "do" anything for me.;)
Murph

This murphy guy seems pretty bright.

It is odd (or maybe isn't, after all) how much color causes responses for us, especially, IMO, in cars and motorcycles. No doubt affects other purchases, tho I could give a flip what color our washer is.

And, oddly, I think the silver Norges are actually, better looking overall packages in terms of the way the silver blends with other parts' colors. That said, "Rosso non è solo un colore, è l'anima" (or something like that. ;)

For me, too, as Yvonne of Yore was a redhead, there may be a connection there, too.

As you can see, I like them both.

I was really torn when I bought the Norge, until I was using a red demo and was followed by the local LEO to the breakfast place. Besides, I already have a fast red Guzzi. B)
