2011 Stelvio Refresh

Bisonheed, thanks for the link. Their work looks nice, and they know what a guzzi is! Maybe they would be willing to produce a larger aftermarket tank. Doesn't make sense that each tank made has to be fitted to the owner's bike. I didn't see an e-mail address on the web page. Maybe you can talk to them? Maybe they would be willing to produce a few tanks? Looks like are their tanks are for carburated bikes, FI might be a little more complicated, maybe not, especially if the vapor recovery stuff is left off.

After reading about the 2011, seems to me that tank would fit the 2010 since no changes were made to the frame but the front fairing and side body work most likely would have to be replace as well or cut. I bet that would cost 2-3 k US dollars.

Yes, after seeing it in the flesh the 'new' Stelvio tank would take a lot of grafting onto the old model and will no doubt be cost prohibitive. I'm going to give the bike a couple of months in the spring to see if I can live with the shortish range, if not then I'm going to see about having a bespoke one made. I'll keep you posted.
