Copied from Steve Ford's post in the North West section in case someone besides me wants to come from SoCal. There is also a thread with comments from other prior attendees on WG. Great rally. great location, great area. Just over the border from the Montana Big Sky country and an easy days ride from Glacier National Park. Got my cabin booked, looking forward to the to-die-for carnitas at the on site Mex restaurant.

Also, depending on where you are coming from, you might consider a night (or more) before or after in Riggins, ID, center for fishing, river rafting, jet boating, hiking, etc, right at the confluence of the Salmon & Little Salmon rivers. I stumbled across the Salmon Rapids Lodge there one year-at low $100's per night a bit pricey for the area but dirt cheap (in my view) for how relatively deluxe it is in that kind of location. River view rooms, indoor pool/outdoor Jacuzzi, right on the edge of town. I'm having my wife fly in to Boise, rent a car & join me there for 3 nights after the rally. With or without company, a real mellow break in a fairly long (for me from LA) bike trip. You should consider coming.
