2021 V7-850 Removing engine frame bolts

Howdy, folks. I am installing a set of Moto Guzzi engine guards on my bike. The engine frame bolts are, happily, very secure. I am having some difficulty breaking them loose. I haven't done this before, so I am anxious not to mess them up. If these were lug nuts on my truck, say, I'd use a cheater pipe. That seems a bit brutish on the bike, and there isn't really any room to do so anyway,

I know this is a dumb bunny basic task, but any suggestions?

I just did this a couple weeks ago and just used a 3/8 ratchet and extension with the appropriate Allen key socket. It was tight, but not that bad.
 
Using the correct tool for the job, makes everything easier. Kudos!
