After breakfast in Wrightwood this morning my Cafe Sport & I stopped at the ranch to hang out awhile. Soon after, a couple pulled in, she on a Tenni green Griso LE. Then, a few minutes later, a red 2-valve Griso and a candy-apple- green-with-red-porkchops V11 Sport arrived. First time in my memory that four Guzzis were in the lot at the same time!

Then the amazement wore off and I rode home to pack the Stelvio for our trip to Idaho, Glacier NP, Oregon, and the NorCal coast, starting tomorrow :D

Ah...Newcomb's Ranch. Now I'm homesick. Although I'm originally from San Diego, after college, I lived in Wrightwood for 2 years and rode the Angeles Crest Hwy a zillion times during the good weather to work in downtown L.A. . It was a much better way than going all the way around the fwy down the mountain. Good memories indeed. :)

Doesn't surprise me with Pro Italia being practically at the base of the Crest.

This is old news but the two Guzzis, a red Griso and the green thing (V11) were my son and I out for a little spin with my new son in law (how cool is that?) on his CBR600. We try to go as often as we can but with my son living and working in Riverside and myself in Torrance as well as the son in law in Vista we're pretty spread out. Newcombs does have some Guzzis show up pretty often. Be nice to get a bunch all at once.

Wow, I just stumbled upon this post...from August! I was the girl on the Tenni Green Griso. (Yet another piece of the puzzle to fit with shoe47) My first time at Newcombe's and riding the Angeles Crest. Can't wait to do it again.
It was great to see all the Guzzis there that day. I was riding from San Diego to Santa Maria.
