In nedd of information. I have a 1975 650t that needs a distributor, a friend in another state has one for an 850 lemans: I know this one uses a cap and wires with a single coil, not really a problem/ What I need to know is if it will fit into my engine? Thanks,
 
The 850 LeMans uses the same distributor as the T. If the distributor has a cap and wires for a single coil, it has single points and is for an Ambassador/Eldorado and will not work in the T. Any of the dual point distributors will work in the T. The advance curves may be different, but if you use the advance control springs for a T it should work well.
