850 T-3 Tires

Hello All,
I'm trying to find tires for my newly aquired T-3 and I can't seem to turn up correct fitment. I'm told that I need 100/90-18 front and 110/90-18 rear tires. Revzilla and my local shop can't find a brand/model that makes tires for front and back. Is this the correct profile and size for my bike and what do you all run these days?

You might also consider the Pirelli Sport Demon.

Personally, I'd probably go with either Shinko 712 or 230 Tour Master. I have the former on my Morini 350K2 and the latter on my Ambassadors. Both offer excellent traction wet or dry. The 712s seem to wear a bit faster, probably 6-8k mile life on the rear. The 230s are longer lasting - I have 9k miles on the set on my '71 Ambo - the front looks like new, the rear is worn flat in the center but still has tread. The 230s do follow grooves in the pavement a bit. 712s are ~ $100 a pair and 230s ~ $135 a pair at American Motorcycle Tire.
 
Thank you all for the tips. I wen't with the shinko 712s this time around. Now I need to learn to raise the bike up to get the wheels off so I can have the new shoes mounted up.
 
You should have a center stand. You can do one at a time. Front is easiest, just place on center stand, then jack up from the pan. The rear is more difficult. Easier with two, and lean the bike while on the center stand an slide out the rear. If alone, back to a ledge, or rock adding blocks under the centerstand. No easy way on the T3 unless you have a lift table for the rear. To take both off at the same time is a bit more challenging as the jack type lifts require customization to lift the bike to have both wheels off at the same time.
 
I just bought a pair of
Bridgestone S11 Spitfire tires with the requisite NEW TUBES !
IRC had the correct size tubes.

I know the original poster already bought tires, but I thought I'd post this here for the record.

Has anyone used these tyres yet? I was thinking of putting them on my CalVin when I replace my tyres.

I put them on a 1000S, and will be putting them on a V7 next week. I'll try to get both people to chime in here.
 
So I will chime in on the tires. I had Todd put them on my better half's v7 last week.
The factory tires were on it and she never really dug them, She found them to be squirrely and never induced confidence in turns. Today was her first day on the new tires and she loves them! She can't stop talking about how confident she feels going into turns. She said she no longer feels like she has to muscle the bike upon turn-in and it feel solid in turns.
I, too, rode the bike bike a bit and found turn in much easier. I briefly rode it in some nice sweepers near my house and must concur that is is much more confidence inspiring while leaned over up to about 75mph. I thought they made the bike feel more plush over bumps compared to the SD's
 
Thank you for the update. Its nice to know someone has tried them and likes them. I understand that tyres are a personal opinion / perception but worth having some feedback. Thanks again. Sounds like I will be putting these on soon.
