850 T rotors

After looking at my rotors for my 850T I'm starting to think I might have to buy replacements. Don't really want to but I may not have a choice, what do some of you think ? Can these rotors be saved and if so can I powder coat the inner part of the rotors or just paint them ? I need two since I'm going with twin rotors up front.

Those should clean up. Main question: are they above the minimum thickness? Are they straight?
 
The run out is 0.3mm, 0.5mm, 0.6mm. The thickness measured with a micrometer are 6.5 mm, 6.6mm, and 6.4
I did clean the rotors where they bolt to the hub before checking the run out to get a more accurate reading.
 
A good machinist can take the run out away. In the process it will remove much of the rust. Those cast iron rotors work well and I believe so long as you stay above 5mm thickness you are OK
 
I would find a good local vapor blaster. It should not be expensive at all to return those to like new appearance from vapor blasting and with the wet vapor blasting, no substrate material will be lost in the process.

Soon, I will be offering this service at my workshop.

Oh, and powder coating would not be my first choice. I would just mask them off once they have been vapor blasted, and use high quality self-etching paint. If you put on a couple of good coats and allow it to fully dry for a few days, they will look great and be durable. The heat necessary for powder coating would be too hot.

I took my engine, transmission cases and a few other parts to collision service of Green near Akron for vapor blasting. Pleased with results.
