I have an 850t which is pretty much standard , but ever sinse I have had it it has had a pair of those little K&N ( type ) air filters . The thing is that this set up is still running the standard main jets , and I have always felt that it is a bit reluctant to rev ( hardly surprizing with them stupid little carbs ). Anybody else using these filters and did you have to go to bigger main jets ?

Thanks Kym,That would explain a few things , mostly why I havnt found a 850t air filter assy. I can see that guy getting a bit of my hard earned in the not to distant future , I also need another disc and bearing carrier , and some dude in Canada has new rear guards ........ f@%* the bills :D

Mc no prob
just on the side regards the rear gaurd, I replaced my T3's ( used as a luggage rack one time too many ) with a 850T bought S/H from states in very good nick. The small bracket that bolts the gaurd (and plastic sheild)to the frame behind the battery is slightly different for the two models, well it was for mine. swapped brackets and right to go.
Looks like you have the original front brake rotor with the nice raised edges on the cut outs. There is a couple of places stateside I have bought S/H stuff from with no problems ....Rusty nuts, Pinwall, Lamontsanfurd....and a couple of others. Ionce won a bid on a compleat front end and they have stripped out the parts i wanted and sent them to save freight etc. good people those yanks :p :p

I wouldnt mind having to modify a guard to fit ...... that small rack and the tail light / number plate bracket are actually off a yamaha AG 175 farm bike  . And Yes , I have had very good service off the yanks , so I might try some of those places
Thanks
Hamish

Ah yes , I now see what you mean about the raised edges to the cut out sections ( now that I've seen the new ones at MG C ) , thanks for that , Id have been pissed off if I had ordered a new disc as Im right into symetry ( mental illness :D ) :)
Thanks
Hamish
