99 California fuel problem

Ok back after much labor and help locally.I found a man who knows bikes and was willing to help me with the Guzzi.He took the bike and found 3 shorts where the wires rubbed the frame.The gas was also old and the tank was dirty
I put in new fuel pump, new fuel filter, and some good coils. After all this was done the bike runs well now.there is still a little popping but he said to run 3 tanks full of gas through it until we see if all clears up.I rode it today and went about 30 miles and she runs great, full power. I once had a suzuki 1100 Gs and the guzzi is faster than that bike
