And no, it is not the rev/change light.

Gurus,

On a ride last week, with temps around the 38 C mark, I saw a red warning light flash momentarily whilst cruising around 100 kph in 6th gear. This light has not flashed since and I went on to complete about 700 further kilometres . I was wondering whether any of you tech heads could offer some advice and guidance, as to what occurred. The bike is due for its first service at 1500 kilometres, however, I cannot remember whether this occurrence was before or after the 'spanner,' icon appeared.

Anyhow, thanks in advance for any info.

Cheers
Brooksie

Location/description of the light on the dash would help. Have you checked for any fault codes in the diagnostics menu?

Assuming u are referring to the red light on the right side. Like John said take a look for dash errors with a memo note.

Most likely nothing as long as it went away. The manual actually says it will flash every so often but as long as it goes away it is fine. Mine does it every so often if the conditions are just right. Most likely just a momentary hiccup in the fueling. Completely normal but just double check the errors just to be sure.

That light is also used for the traction control and will kick in when activated. Unlikely this was the case as I am sure you oils have felt it at 100 kph.

Thanks.........Yes, it was the light on the top right of the dash. I was speaking to a friend with a Stelvio purchased a week after mine, and he has experienced the same. Thanks to both of you for allaying my fears..........Would appear to be normal and shall let my friend know as well. However, as suggested, I will check out the diagnostic menu as suggested.

Cheers
Brooksie
