Hey out there,

to introduce myself to you, I made a first short about my new Italian love - the Moto Guzzi V7 II "Due" Special. Color is "rosso".

Just want to share the beauty of and my enthusiasm for this bike. It's a new love, look at the mileage indicator ;-)

Looking forward to getting some feedback :) And apart from Guzzi shoots, I always wear proper motorcycle gear - just in case you were wondering ;-)

Awesome job on the video and happy riding!

Thanks for your positive feedback mates, that's highly motivating and a great start here at the community :)

From Germany to Mandello would be quite a ride, but I'd love to do that in the near future.

@elkgrichard : Trying to give my best to let it look like a professional video :) But still a lot of room for improvement I guess (especially regarding color grading and sound).

My Guzzi short is my first attempt regarding cinemascope style. My other videos (of classic Simson scooters, production dates around 1980's) have been shot in classic 16:9. :)

Gutschi, I just watched your video on YouTube after my regular search for all things V7 and had just commented to my wife what an excellent edit it was, right down to the ticking engine after you switched it off. Liking the Red special even more now, it would contrast with my egg yolk yellow Stone I I really well. Keep filming and editing!!

As good or better video than any of the "official" guzzi promos. I liked the "shutdown" and mapping sequence, it really gives you a feel for what kind of adventure awaits the rider.

Welcome to the GT Forum and Famiglia... congrats, and thanks for posting the video. Well done.
Love to get your info for the Registry; https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/v7-registry-picture-thread-add-your-bike.9108/ -- post there on send to me direct.
We here in the U.S. are often tortured for the slow release of newer models. We won't see the new V7 II for a few more months.

Again, thank you so much for giving me such a motivating and nice feedback :) Feels good to be here at the GT forum!

@mermoto: Glad to hear that and I am sure your yellow Stone I would appreciate some company ;-) The ticking engine you mentioned is kind of a promise that the next ride will be awesome too. It's just addictive to me ;-)

@tonUp: Yeah, I'm curious what adventures will come. :) I bet there will be lots of it!

@GT-Rx: What a shame that you guys in the US have to wait so much longer for the arrival of the new models. Why is that? Guzzi strategy?

I appreciate that, thanks mate :)

Just out of curiosity: Is riding a Guzzi in the US an exotic thing or just ordinary? Here in Germany it is kind of exotic. :)

I am having issues with my V7 Stone. It is leaking oil from the front crank seal. I had the seal replaced under warranty, got it home to discover it still leaking. Took it back to the dealer (200 miles away) and had the front engine case replaced (per Piaggio) and of course another seal.
The dealer says they test rode it a good 40 miles this time, knowing how far away I am and what I've gone through.
I just rode it and it is STILL leaking!!!!
Anyway…. while I was at the dealer he said he is now taking orders for the new V7 II and said he could have one within two weeks.
I'm hoping Piaggio is going to do the right thing and let me have a new V7II without losing any money.
I've taken days off work, driven hundreds of miles and even paid for a hotel while it was being "repaired".
It was too late to talk to the Piaggio rep today so I will call first thing Monday. Wish me luck!!
