I took my new (to me) 2006 Breva 1100 to Mexico for a solo, week-long, 2000-mile trip to Mexico in early January to visit friends in the country. The trip took me from Corpus Christi, Texas to Pachuca, state of Hidalgo, Huatusco in Veracruz and the city of Veracruz before returning home.

You can read about my trip at http://www.twtex.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68799

The Breva replaced my 2001 Triumph Trophy 1100 which had 100,000+ miles on it. I've been really happy with the Breva. I was looking for a naked touring type bike and the Breva is exactly what I was looking for.

Here's a few teaser pictures for you:

Hope you enjoy the ride!

Welcome Andy, thanks for the post and great picture journey. We here in SoCal used to ride in Mexico often, but since the drug/border wars, not many of us have.

Welcome again, and do post often(!).

Nice to see another adventurous soul out there.

I just bought a house in Mexico and find myself riding down every other weekend.

It really is quite enjoyable.

Wow! What a wonderful trip you had. Thanks for posting up all those pictures. It makes me want to head out on a trip. :D
