Has anyone else had trouble with the ABS, or is it just me?
My problems started when the ABS warning light came on after some "spirited" dirt road riding. My local dealer checked it out, managed to delete the error code and all was OK till we got some torrential rain. Then the light came back on. Back to the dealer for another check, and a replacement front wheel sensor. Due to his computer refusing to play, he was unable to cancel the error code for some time, and when he tried again it told him the problem is with the ABS pump. Needless to say, this is not an item the national distributor has many of (like, NONE) so I'm still without ABS. Yes, each time the light has come on, it has truly indicated that the ABS does not work (thankfully the brakes still do). I can ride without it, of course, but it gives me the irrits to pay this much (AUD$26,000) for a bike and not have it work properly.
