Air filters

I fitted a BMC on my 1400 and noticed no difference in either running or fuel mileage. I would do it again but I would wait till when the time came to change the original filter so I could do it and forget about it for a longer period and clean it the next time. What a pain to get to.
Either filter in a stock air box will make no difference. Only if you modify the lid to increase the flow. The fuel system is not adaptive, so as stated many times here that if you modify the intake or exhaust, you need to revise the fueling.
