any other Guzzis in Sask?

Hi Folks:

FYI, two Cal Vintage owners in S. Alberta, myself and another fellow, although both our wives will dispute the ownership I think. ;)

Take it easy on Sask eh? I lived there for many a year and those were some of the best days of my life, broken tarmac or not. Also, motorcycles are supposed to be able to swerve right!?! Seize the day!

I only received my Cal Vintage last week. Another bike shipped from Ontario.

Can you "personal message" via these forums?

Just bought a Californa Jackal last month.

Its a beautiful country. Lived in Saskatchewan for many years. And drove through the lower part this summer.

There may be more Guzzis in Sask. than you may think, there have been Guzzi people here before the newest crop of Guzzis hit the market. I personally at the moment own 12 Guzzis, the oldest being a 1971 Ambassador to the newest one in the fleet being a 1200 Sport. I personally know of atleast 5 more Guzzis in Sask. I belive Prairie Cycle in Regina used to be a dealer for them in the 70's.I belive that I had registered the first California in Saskatchewan back in 2006, for sure they are not the best know motorcycle in the world let alone in a place less cultured than you would expect. Twelve Guzzis? Wow, talk about an embarrassment of riches! You da man, Don! :D

I find insuring just one for the road here in Ontario is about as much as I can afford.

Cheers,

Bruce

I dont register them all at once, I try to use half of them yearly and rotate their use. The price of registration for the sports is quite expensive in Sask. but the registration for the older units is more realistic especialy if registering as antique. I have purchased some of these units in other provinces, Kijiji is the best thing to happen in a long time! I just couldnt pass up some of these deals! I still think that Guzzis are the best under $5000.00 deal going. I used to have a collection of British and American cycles that was bigger than what I have now, I sold that CRAP off and settled into a better class of machine! at least you can ride a Guzzi wide open all afternoon and not have any problems other than the law. I like Saskatchewan winters as you have lots of time to restore and repair, thats why I have more than 1 cuz you always need something to do. DONG

Exactly right Roly. And more coming on board with the new V7 models, hopefully see a new Cali too.
Me with the black 1200 Sport.
Will winter be over and snow gone by july this year?? Grrr.
