Any Stelvio Owners in France?

How I wish I was living in Corrèze...!!!! You got some nice curvy roads down there!!!

I got some nice ones over here too but they are usually more wet than dry over the year... That is because I live in Chantilly (Oise) in Picardie. Not too far from Paris but still...

I dream of going to drive down to my auntie who's in Auvergne (near Besse). I've been there (with the car) and this is just a bike rider's paradise. The raods are excellent curvy, going up and down the chain of the Puys... just beautiful.

I have yet to spot a Stelvio in my area too... but fortunately for me there's a Norge owner not too far, and I suppose he'll be back here soon as he was a mainstay on the forum before the problems...

I had a new friend come in from near Lyon to do a bike exchange with me last month; Vincent M & his G/F Sylviane. He owns a Stelvio and a garage full of very interesing machines including; a Moto Guzzi Ercole, '47 French-made Magniat Debon Side Car and a Wasp/Yamaha XXS 820cc side car... with which he ran the second Paris Dakar race in 1982.

I'll try to have him check in here, but said he's not a big internet guy, and his english is (his words) at best, "Spanish Cow." Told him to post in French. You guys and Google Translate are my friend. ;)

Wonder B - you are right the area is fantastic for bikes of all types. If you find yourself close we should maybe take a ride through some of these twisties together...

Absolutely Nomad!!! If I ever come your way there's no doubt riding Guzzis together will enhance the pleasure I'll get from the roads...
In the meantime if you're really looking for others dudes to ride with in your area, I am positively sure that you will find some guys right here on the french Guzzi forum and the 17th topic from the top talks about some Auvergne ride (with lots of Guzzis) next Spring when the weather will (hopefully) be a little sunnier and warmer!
It's right there :

Racer X, no problem if your friend posts here in french I'll be happy (me or someone else I suppose) to translate!

Thank you of rthe link Wonder B I will take a look - though it will take some interpretation as my French is not so great currently ;)
