I saw this on an r9t the other day and it put out a great beam and was really bright. Im not planning on going crazy on modding the Griso but one thing that bugs me is night riding after getting off of my MV Agusta with the HID headlamp, the Griso's light looks like its a candle in a jam jar.

I dont really care about the turn signals, I might just rock them as running lights or something, but the idea of an updated light that has considerably better output is really desirable. I tour on the Griso and Id feel much better being able to see.

And HID into the regular headlight isnt really an option because the regular headlight does nothing to control the beam. Youre really just blinding people.

Or if anyone has any first-hand experience with another maker that does an updated parabolic or projector lamp that swaps into the housing let me know.

First I'm hearing of them. I've reached out to them to see about setting up as a dealer, and I'll be getting one of each size to try. Slightly annoying that the smaller version has better performance.

First for me too but I guess they were common for the Harley folks.

I wish I could get the big one without turn signals.

FYI I went ahead and finally ordered it, tired of the stark contrast between the Griso and the MV at night.

Ill update this thread with my findings. Doubt I will use the turn signals. Also it looks like a 3-wire setup, not sure if I will need to do anything special to hook up to ours, maybe just patch over the running light to be the turn signal LEDs or something.

OK finally got it. Electrically the 3 prong bulb is plug and play. Fire the bike up and no dash error. No place for the parking light but don't care.

My issue is mounting. It fits perfectly size wise but there is nothing to hold it in place. The old lens has 3 tabs for mounting that this doesn't. It's assuming some sort of rear locking ring to hold it in place. I'm gonna have to fab something up unless someone else has figured out putting in a 7" Harley lens

So this is what I have so far . I fabbed a ring that goes behind the headlamp to hold it in place, that then has tabs that bolt to the mounting tabs on the stock ring that holds the headlamp. The only issue left is holding in the right hand side. It looks like it actually relied on the pressure from the ear for the lateral adjustment to keep the cheap plastic housing from deflecting. So when I tighten the bottom screw (the ONLY thing holding your entire headlight assembly in) if you tighten it a hair too much the right hand side opens up. Right now some friction tape and not tightening that screw too tight does it but I am going to probably make something to make that adjustment screw useful again.

Its bright but I cant really tell if I like it because its light out, will ride around tonight and see what I think of it. I also havent wired up the turn signals yet, not sure if I am going to use them as parking lights or turn signals. More than likely I would ditch the bug eyes and go bar ends as a secondary one.

Is there another headlight housing that is a direct bolt in but is of better quality? The housing Mine came with looks like its really, really cheaply made.
