The U.S. Police bike as shown below? I'm pretty sure it was last seen in the Atlanta area, many years ago now.

Advantage Jon. So Don, gonna fire back?

Good observation Bob, I attach elements of Don's latest post, perhaps the bags will hold his sizable desire for libations....

Mind you I was already smashed by the time I got here, but still a bit nervous to be walking into this place.

There were your regular trashy snatches running around. And best of all...THERE WAS SAILOR JERRY RUM! Once I saw it sitting there on the shelf, I screamed at the top of my lungs "FUCK YES! THEY HAVE THE JERRY! I AM DESTROYING SOMEONE'S LIFE TONIGHT!"

Bartender: "Whut can I git you?"
Me (Drunker than shit): "Can you give me a Sailor Jerry and Rum?"
*Bartender walks away and comes back*
Bartender: Did you say "Sailor Jerry and Rum"?
Me: Yes, now make it snappy!
*Bartender stares at me*
Me: Shit! I meant Sailor Jerry and Coke!
"Ya see, it's got this hint of cherry and it's so sweet. It goes down really smooth, NOW FUCKIN' DRINK IT!"

I bought 3 drinks and got away with it for $10. How that happened, I'll never know. There's some other fun stuff that went down, but that's for my friends to know.
Just make sure you get slammered to make it an even better night.

just sayin

Not the slightest idea, Todd, but you're welcome to send one my way ;)

Apart from that, here's what one might come across in the (aptly named? :silly:) town of Tourette in the south of France:

Who knows, maybe they wanted to modernise their police offer with a vintage bike? Or the town they're deployed is an old-age resort?

More likely: the Breva 750 must be close to being retired, there may be a parts availability consideration behind the choice.

The V7C version is more conventional looking, and would appeal to dept administrators. The Breva sportbike look might not find favor with the older, more sedate managers. Although the Breva version had a locking trunk.

Is the Breva being discontinued? In the States it and the Nevada are already gone, but I thought both models still sold well in Europe.
